Summary:
Join our Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Mississippi (YTMM) Increasing Talented Innovators through Real Exposure (ITIRE) Summer Intern program at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in West Point, MS.
This internship provides a unique opportunity for high school students to gain hands-on-experience in the manufacturing industry.
As an intern, you will work closely with our skilled professionals, participating in various aspects of the production process.
Responsibilities:
Assist in day-to-day manufacturing operations.
Learn and apply basic assembly and production techniques.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Gain exposure to quality control procedures.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines always.
Contribute ideas for process improvement and efficiency.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Perform 2S and 5S.
Education and
Experience:
Rising Juniors & Rising Seniors (High School) Must have a 2.
60 above Grade Point Average Must have a letter of recommendation from one of the following people:
teacher, guidance counselor, career coach, administrator, community leader, or a YTMM employee.
Submit a 100-word essay explaining why this experience will aid in their career development.
Physical Requirements:
Must reside in one of the following counties:
Clay, Lowndes, Monroe, Oktibbeha, Chickasaw or Noxubee Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
